Agreement to our Terms of Service
Million on Mars is on a mission to deliver a positive vision for the future of humanity by becoming a multi-planetary species and exploring sustainable growth across the solar system, universal basic income concepts, and liberty to found new settlements driven by a player-owned economy. Creating an account, linking a wallet, and playing our games is your agreement to these Terms of Service. From this mission it is straightforward to unpack the four Golden Rules of Million on Mars.
One Game Account Per Adult Human Player
Million on Mars is designed to be enjoyed by adult humans, and as such, we design our systems to include game loops with cooldowns, free resource gifts, various balance concepts that are all based on one player and one game account. It is impossible to design a game that is well balanced for a single human having a rewarding game experience and for a multi-accounter with dozens of accounts exploiting the game systems.
No Automated Play
Games are for humans, not for bots. We are not in the business of entertaining bots, we are here to help put a smile on human faces and a feeling of optimism for the future. While we love ourselves a rover on Mars exploring the surface of Mars or off on a mining trip, we have zero tolerance for bots and automated play of our games. We do not distinguish between the various flavors of bots, scripts, macros, or automated play, no exceptions given, our games are for humans and humans only to enjoy.
No Abuse or Exploitation
Fair play. Treat everyone with kindness or at least fairly and respectfully. No abusive chats, no expressions of bigotry, hate, nor violence will be tolerated. No disruption to our service or the gameplay of others. No exploitation of our APIs, servers, game economy, website, Discord server, or other aspects of our products and services will be tolerated. No "backed trades", no phishing, and no cheating.
Whitehats Appreciated - Report Bugs!
If you notice a bug or a flaw or a runaway bit of the game economy - report it! If it is sensitive and you are worried about mass exploitation of a bug, report it directly to a developer on Discord or support@milliononmars.com. We do reward white hats that strive to make the game clean and more enjoyable for all players.
Million On Mars Is a Game, Not a Financial Product
We are passionate about the possibilities that are opened up with strong player ownership and, yes, we love the greater opportunities for players to buy, sell, and trade our NFTs and our Dusk and Gliter tokens. But all of that is just great fun gameplay. We are not warranting that this is any form of investment that you should make and as we are an online game all sorts of bugs, game imbalances, or any other number of things can go wrong. You voluntarily assume all such risks by playing Million on Mars. We make our best efforts every day to deliver a fun game service to you and if at any time you are not having fun - just stop playing.
You also voluntarily agree that you waive any right to participate in any class action lawsuit against Million on Mars, and you agree to arbitration instead of a right to sue or trial by jury.
We ban violators of our Terms of Service
Any violation of our Terms of Service may result in being banned from playing Land Rush as well as our other games. When our Terms of Service are violated we also investigate the accounts of other players and wallets that have unnatural patterns of play that violate our Terms of Service. It is common for us to ban an entire network of bots or a multi-accounter. We do not refund players for the Access Badge or any other investment of time, money, or luck that is contained inside the "virtual" economy of the game. Players that find themselves banned from playing our games still own their NFTs and tokens on their on-chain wallets. We see this as one of the stronger innovations that blockchain technology offers to games - the ability of the banned to realize the value of their assets on the secondary market.
Something is wrong - I need help!
Contact player support where our player experience staff work tirelessly to help players solve problems with their gameplay. If you have been banned or have had the withdraw dusk option removed and believe that we are in error in determining that you have violated the terms of service, again contact player experience. If you apologize for violating our Terms of Service and agree to use only one account going forward our support staff is likely - but only at their discretion - to re-enable one account for you to continue to play.
Terms of Service changes
As we are continually delivering more content and systems for our products and services, our Terms of Service will also continually change. Every time you play Million on Mars, you agree to our current Terms of Service. Our player experience team is available to clarify any questions you may have about our Terms of Service.
